Helping individuals to be at their best through one-to-one, group and joint leadership coaching
We have a team of over 200 qualified employment coaches who are available to deliver coaching across the UK. Sessions can be one-to-one or in small peer groups. For individuals in employment we try to involve line managers in helping set goals, so that we know the difference will improve job sustainability.
Our coaching options
We have four main types of coaching, but we also often create custom coaching programs for individuals and for organisations. Just contact us so we can understand your requirements and create a solution that is best suited for you.
- One-to-one coaching
- Group coaching
- Co-coaching
- Leadership coaching
We are experts in supporting neurominorities and the sessions will be led by the needs of the individual. Typical topics of interest include areas such as time management, memory and organisation. We don’t ‘teach’, we ask questions, encourage practice of strategies and help identify things that are working well. Every coaching program is specific to the individual.
You can find more about each of these types of coaching further down this page. As well as testimonials and stories from some of our thousands of prior clients (all shared only with their permission).
What our coaching clients say…
I now have a better understanding and have the tools to further my development and career. My coach was really understanding and took time to explain concepts and methods for developing or building on the strengths that I already have. I found the training and support very helpful; I learnt a lot about myself and useful mechanisms to help me reach my full potential.

Coaching Testimonials
We’re lucky to have received many hundreds of positive stories and testimonials from our clients over the years, here are just some of our more recent ones. (All names are changed where requested for privacy and security.)

“I have really appreciated the compassion, kindness, and support given to me. I got on well with my coach, and I was surprised how easily I was able to open up and share my experiences. We went beyond the usual tips, tricks, and coping strategies, and delved into a much more therapeutic and holistic approach than I had expected. I’d be very happy to recommend this service to anyone who wants to explore the strengths and challenges of their neurodivergence.”

I only recently had screening for Neurodiversity prior to starting the coaching sessions. Its fair to say Toby has supported me with understanding who I am and reassuring me that everything is and will be ok as well as how I can utilise my strengths and manage my weaknesses in the workplace.
This has helped me get to a good place where I am comfortable with the screening outcome and understand this is me now, which is huge for me and very self-assuring. I cant thank Toby enough for this.
We also looked at specific scenarios in the workplace that I found difficult and discussed what I currently do and turned them into actionable plans to make my working day more comfortable and more successful. This has covered several things including social interactions (small talk), fidgeting and uncomfortableness and dealing with difficult scenarios and how to manage this being work smart.
I would recommend this support from everyone that has had the same scenario as me and I cant thank Toby enough for supporting me in the way he has.
Thank you so much.

I had the privilege of being coached by Malcolm at Genius Within, and his guidance has been incredibly valuable. Malcolm was very easy to chat to and offered a wealth of good advice, particularly on working with me and my manager and improving my managers style of providing feedback. In fact, I believe my manager benefited greatly from Malcolm’s insights when delivering feedback to other colleagues too.
Developing a good rapport with Malcolm was effortless, as we shared some similar interests. His experience as a senior employee in a large multinational company provided him with excellent insights into running projects and leading teams. His advice has been instrumental in my professional growth.
What I appreciated most about Malcolm was his honesty and comfort in telling me when he felt I had not done anything wrong in a situation. He was quick to point out when it was actually the other person’s responsibility or when the project structure provided to me was not ideal. This candid feedback was refreshing and very helpful.
If I could, I would have liked to continue fortnightly calls with Malcolm to discuss my challenges from the past couple of weeks with someone who is honest, independent, experienced, and understands neurodiversity.
Thank you, Malcolm, for your invaluable support and expertise.
