Joe Ruddock
Diploma in Effective Coaching and Mentoring
What could change if you stopped trying to work around your neurodivergence and started working with it?
Joe works particularly well with thoughtful, ambitious people who sense they are capable of more, but haven’t yet found the way of working that allows them to consistently show it. He helps neurodivergent professionals understand themselves better, find strategies that genuinely work for them, and make meaningful changes in how they think, work and perform.
His coaching combines deep empathy with energy, challenge and a strong belief in what is possible – creating a space that is supportive, but never passive. Joe brings curiosity, creativity and a performance mindset to his work, helping clients think differently, experiment with new possibilities and turn insight into action.
With both personal and professional experience of neurodivergence, Joe understands the challenges as well as the strengths it can bring. His aim is not simply to help people manage what is difficult, but to help them discover what becomes possible when they work in a way that fits who they are.
Joe’s professional background spans project management, sports psychology, teaching, training and coaching. He has supported individuals, teams and leaders across a wide range of industries and professional settings.
Joe is driven by a belief in human capability and a frustration with the assumptions and limitations that can hold people back, motivating him to help others recognise their strengths, challenge what they have been told is possible and discover what they can achieve when given the opportunity to think differently.
At his best, Joe is a catalyst: curious, energetic and deeply attentive, with a knack for asking the question that changes how someone sees a situation. He combines warmth and empathy with challenge, creativity and an impatience for unnecessary limits. He brings energy to possibility, helping people feel understood, think differently and turn insight into movement.
