Genius Within Wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2022
East Sussex-based Genius Within wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Neurodiversity champions are selected for Royal Award for promoting opportunity.
Genius Within, an organisation that supports neurodivergent staff unlock their talents, has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, recognised for its excellence in Promoting Opportunity.
Genius Within is one of 225 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Employing 53 people, Genius Within CIC is a social enterprise established by Dr Nancy Doyle in 2011 to support neurominorities in their careers, whilst acknowledging and celebrating that cognitive diversity forms part of the rich tapestry of human experience.
Genius Within’s CEO, Jacqui Wallis commented on the award announcement: “Genius Within is working to remove systemic barriers and improve inclusivity. Being recognised by this important award is a testament to the careful attention of our talented team and our psychology-based approach to our work. We are all inspired to continue what we do, helping neurodivergent people gain access to the opportunities they deserve and supporting organisations in their hunt for a talented workforce.”
Now in its 56th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
