Principal Psychologist and Researcher

Clare holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Her current role is Principal Psychologist and Researcher at Genius Within, collaborating with founder Dr Nancy Doyle to enhance the Genius Finder platform, empowering neurodivergent individuals with personalised insights, evidence-based advice, and self-development tools.

Clare is dedicated to improving workplace inclusion for neurodivergent people. She has over 18 years of experience in assessment and development solutions, including 13 years at internationally renowned psychometric assessment company SHL. Inspired by the lived experiences of those around her, she has specialised in neurodiversity assessment. She led SHL’s award-winning neurodiversity research program, informing best practices for neuroinclusive talent assessment. Clare actively shares her insights through conferences, events, blogs, white papers, and journal articles.

What is your favourite way to relax and unwind after a day’s work?

Singing, walking her dog and watching her favourite boxsets – sometimes all at the same time!

What is your Inner Genius?

Clare’s new nickname at Genius Within is ‘Psychomagician’ – she loves making sure that things are working as intended and helping to improve them to be the best they can. Fairness, impact, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything she does.
