Anna Theron
Anna has worked with a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors, spanning all levels of seniority in organisations, from C-suite leaders to training accountants.
Anna has lived experience of late diagnosis ADHD. She says: “Journeying with my son through his assessment before starting university, it was as if I saw myself in the mirror for the first time. A lifetime of masking to “conform to the norm” started making sense to me, and I came to a place of understanding and an oasis of acceptance. This was a door into a new mindset of curiosity and kindness towards myself and in return, to others.
Anna had worked as a chartered accountant, both in public practice and industry, before retraining as an executive coach.
Coach training
Retrained as a coach in 2020, doing the Post Graduate Certificate in Executive and Personal Coaching with Barefoot Coaching. Completing ACC and PCC certification with ICF (International Coaching Federation). Have been coaching formally for 5 years, longer informally as part of previous roles.
Approach to coaching
Solution focused, drawing on the rich expertise of the client about themself and their context. Both the coaching and the solutions should reflect the client’s intentional choices.
Trauma informed
Leaning on ontology, “the science of being”.
What motivates Anna
Her strong sense of justice and fairness, sense of purpose from her work, and her own lived experience of ADHD. Our brains are powerful, and by paying attention to our design, and learning to work with our brain can be fascinating, liberating, and empowering.
Qualifications
