Aleigh Sydenham
IAPC&M Accredited Practitioner Coach
Aleigh offers a professional background in Human Resource Management, specialising in workplace coaching, neurodiversity and mental well-being. She is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and an IAPC&M Accredited Practitioner Coach, with over 2500 hours of coaching practice. She completed her Ph.D. at Plymouth University exploring the impact of workplace coaching on mental wellbeing.
She has been an Associate of Genius Within since 2015 and during this time has enjoyed working with a variety of people to develop a greater awareness and appreciation of neurodiversity, enabling them to recognise and play to their strengths so that they flourish and thrive in their working lives. Alongside her coaching practice, she is a Programme Director and Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter where she manages the delivery of the MSc Human Resource Management Online and Apprenticeship Programmes.
Aleigh’s previous work experience include 20yrs experience working in Human Resource Management, including managing her own consultancy (The HR Desk) and Coaching Practice (Coaching for Wellbeing).
She is passionate about supporting people to recognise and play to their strengths so that they thrive and flourish in both their personal and professional lives.
When Aleigh is working at her best, she is relaxed, curious and flourishing.
