Founder and Chief Science Officer

Dr Nancy Doyle is an award-winning organisational psychologist, social entrepreneur, and a leading authority on neurodiversity and inclusion at work.

Nancy has worked with Microsoft, Google, Amazon, the United Nations, the Royal Navy, and many others, helping organisations harness neurodivergent talent and build inclusive cultures.

A dynamic international speaker, she combines research, lived experience, and humour to make complex ideas accessible and inspiring. Nancy has delivered talks at Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford, and Imperial, and regularly features in Forbes and on BBC2’s “Employable Me.”

Helen Musgrove

Head of Consulting and Business Psychologist

Helen is highly qualified Business Psychologisand Head of the Consulting department at Genius Within.

Helen has extensive experience helping employers around the world create more neuroinclusive workplaces through evidence-based organisational change programmes and training. 

Helen is passionate about celebrating neurodiversity and empowering neurodivergent people to thrive at work, drawing on both professional expertise and personal experience.   

Prior to her career as a Business Psychologist, Helen worked for many years as a Senior Civil Servant, leading strategy and delivery of UK-wide social policy programmes to increase inclusion and support for marginalised groups.  

Helen holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology, a Post-Graduate certificate in Leadership and a BSc in Psychology.

Paul Stevenson

Ambassador

Paul Stevenson is an Ambassador and international speaker for Genius Within CIC, sharing powerful insights from his lived experience with Tourette Syndrome and co-occurring conditions.

Beginning his journey on the Genius Within social media team, Paul’s talent for storytelling and connection soon led him to become the organisation’s photographer and public speaker, engaging audiences across the UK and beyond.

Through honesty, humour, and empathy, Paul shines a light on the realities of neurodivergent life — breaking stigma, building understanding, and inspiring others to see the strength in difference.

He also collaborates with Tourette associations worldwide and contributes to research at Nottingham University, helping to advance knowledge and awareness of Tourette Syndrome.

Clare Mottram

Principal Psychologist and Researcher

Clare holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Her current role is Principal Psychologist and Researcher at Genius Within, collaborating with Founder Dr Nancy Doyle to enhance the Genius Finder platform, empowering neurodivergent individuals with personalised insights, evidence-based advice, and self-development tools.

Clare is dedicated to improving workplace inclusion for neurodivergent people. She has over 18 years of experience in assessment and development solutions, including 13 years at internationally renowned psychometric assessment company SHL. Inspired by the lived experiences of those around her, she has specialised in neurodiversity assessment. She led SHL’s award-winning neurodiversity research program, informing best practices for neuroinclusive talent assessment. Clare actively shares her insights through conferences, events, blogs, white papers, and journal articles.

Fiona Barrett

Chief Operating Officer

Fiona Barrett is the Chief Operating Officer for Genius Within and has the responsibility to lead, develop and support the Senior Leadership Team.

Fiona is the driving force behind our Social Justice Projects and also specialises in leading our high performance teams in the Employability and Criminal Justice sectors. Her wealth of knowledge, experience and drive have resulted in the growth of the Social Justice team by four-fold.

Recognising of the barriers that people with disabilities face, combined with her knowledge, expertise and passion, Fiona continues to drive the companies’ vision for diversity and inclusion in all sectors.

Jess Sollom

Head of Delivery and Business Psychologist

Jess holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology and Child Development, MSc Applied Research in Psychology, MSc Organisational Psychology and ILM 7 certificate in Leadership and Management. Her current role is the Occupational Delivery Team Leader and Business Psychologist for Genius Within. Previous work experience includes Case Manager, Coach and Assistant Psychologist all working within the Employability sector, supporting neurodivergent individuals to maximise their strengths, and overcome their challenges.

Additionally, Jess has previously worked with neurodivergent adolescents within the education system and has held various voluntary roles which relate to inclusion, such as being a D&I governor for a higher education establishment and an Independent Parent Supporter for parents of children with Special Educational Needs.

Jess is neurodivergent herself; she is an ADHDer, has OCD and an anxiety disorder. Jess is passionate about diversity and inclusion and strives to empower others to reach their full potential. Jess has a specific interest in neurodiversity due to lived experience and observed unjust experiences of others.

Gunjan Odedra

Occupational Delivery Team Lead and Business Psychologist

Gunjan combines academic excellence with practical expertise in psychology, mental health, wellbeing, and neurodiversity. She holds a BSc in Psychology with Counselling Skills, an MSc in Psychology, and is a qualified psychometric test user. Her dedication to mental health and wellbeing is also demonstrated through her additional qualifications, including diplomas in leadership, counselling, and coaching.

As part of the team at Genius Within, Gunjan has contributed to the development of the Genius Finder. With a wealth of experience in the United Kingdom and international settings like India and Dubai, she is fuelled by a fascination with the diverse ways in which the human mind operates and the potential that lies in these differences. Her approach is underpinned by a blend of scientific rigour and a deep empathy for individual experiences.

Gunjan’s approach is grounded in practicality, aiming to create real-world impact through her work in Training and Development, and as a Business Psychologist. She provides consultancy services to businesses, coaching and trainings to create more neuroinclusive environments. She helps organisations tap into the unique talents of neurominorities with a goal to encourage workplaces to embrace diversity, unlock untapped potential, and create a culture of inclusion where all individuals can thrive.

Lauren Connelly

Business Psychologist

Lauren is a Business Psychologist at Genius Within. Lauren is also a qualified psychometric test user with a BSc in Psychology and is undertaking an MSc in Organisational Psychology. Lauren is passionate about making a positive change to people’s lives and facilitating empowerment for others to be at their best.

Lauren’s work experiences include coaching, facilitating workplace needs assessments and neurodiversity awareness trainings, as well as bespoke consultancy work within the Neurodiversity at work sector, supporting employees and organisations to better understand neuroinclusive best practice and its benefits.

Lauren found her passion in Psychology first, however then found her way to neurodiversity through personal / family experiences with neurodivergence and originally wanting to support them. She now wants to help others to understand on a wider scale and make things easier than it was for people in her family so that everyone can be themselves and feel that they are worthy!

Lauren has experience in working with individuals who are unemployed, supporting them to reach a stage of employability again.
